Home air conditioning

Mitsubishi wall unit fitted neatly in a sloping-ceiling corner of a living room

Cool in summer, warm in winter and quiet enough for a bedroom. We design, supply and install home air conditioning across the West Midlands, with fixed prices you can see in seconds.

What home air conditioning does

A modern inverter air conditioner is a heat pump: it moves heat out of a room in summer and into it in winter, using a fraction of the electricity of a plug-in heater. A single wall-mounted indoor unit connects to a compact outdoor unit by a pair of small refrigerant pipes, so the installation is clean and usually finished in a day.

Rooms we fit most

  • Bedrooms, where whisper-quiet indoor units keep the room at a steady temperature overnight
  • Living rooms and kitchens, including open-plan spaces with higher heat gains
  • Home offices and garden rooms, where a small, efficient unit makes a big difference
  • Whole-house multi-split systems, with several indoor units on one outdoor unit

Fixed prices, no guesswork

Use our instant price calculator: enter your room size, ceiling height and how sunny it is, and you’ll see two Mitsubishi Heavy Industries options with the fitted price. Prices include a standard back-to-back installation and power supply, and are confirmed from your photos. Multi-room systems need a free site survey first.

We are a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Diamond Partner, so we can offer up to 10 years’ manufacturer warranty on qualifying MHI systems. If you prefer another brand such as Daikin or Mitsubishi Electric, we can fit that on request.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does home air conditioning cost?

Single-room systems start from £1,530 fitted, including VAT and the power supply, for a 2.0 kW Mitsubishi Heavy Industries SRK Standard unit. Larger rooms and the premium SRK Diamond range cost more. Our price calculator shows the exact figure for your room, subject to confirmation from photos.

How long does installation take?

A single-room installation is normally completed in one day. Multi-room systems take longer and are planned after a free site survey.

Can air conditioning heat my home as well?

Yes. Inverter air conditioners are reversible heat pumps, so the same unit cools in summer and heats in winter, and is usually far cheaper to run than electric heaters.

Is air conditioning noisy?

Modern indoor units are very quiet, often around the level of a whisper on their lowest speed. We position the outdoor unit with anti-vibration mounts to keep noise away from bedrooms and neighbours.

Do I need planning permission?

In many cases an outdoor unit falls under permitted development, but it depends on the property (for example flats, listed buildings and conservation areas). We’ll talk you through it at quotation stage.
